a spontaneous lauren krachenfels moment

“Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplacable spark. In the hopeless swamps of the not quite, the not yet, and the not at all, do not let the hero in your soul perish and leave only frustration for the life you deserved, but never have been able to reach. The world you desire can be won, it exists, it is real, it is possible, it is yours.”

  2. “Yes, the quote is significant to me for two reasons: 1) The Fountainhead is one of my absolute favorite books. 2) It captures the essence of the final heat of one specific rowing race in high school. One of the women on my boat wrote this quote on a piece of duct tape and stuck it to my seat.”
I’m glad it also stuck to you !

Have you gone on to read ‘Atlas Shrugged’ and maybe ‘We The Living’, also by Rand ?
